Story Rocket was created with one simple idea: great stories deserve to be seen.
We know how difficult it is for writers and artists to get noticed today, even when the talent is there. That is why we focus on creating a genuine pathway for discovery. We built Story Rocket to create the kind of opportunity we were always looking for.
Our team is made up of award-winning professionals and industry creatives across animation, film, directing, and production, including storyboard artists, lead animators, visual effects artists, score composers, and more. We bring both creative passion and real production experience to every project.
Story Rocket is not a festival, nor just another screenwriting competition. We produce short films and focus on discovering new voices.
Our competition is just the beginning of a larger animated anthology project built around meaningful storytelling. We bring together a wide range of voices and artistic styles to create something diverse, honest, and memorable.
Story Rocket exists to find great stories and help bring them to life.
